Lobbying and Advocacy in Policy Development and Implementation

Under this strategic priority, KAKDET seeks to support society by ensuring that the community’s voice is heard and affects the county’s development agenda.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To build the lobbying and advocacy capacity and skills development of Kakamega County communities.
  2. To strengthen the capacity of communities in to research relevant sectoral policies and laws.
  3. To strengthen community systems that enable regular, prompt, and accurate monitoring of the implementation of county government policies and development activities.
