In my role as Chair of the Kakamega Development Trust (KAKDET), a local development organization, I am dedicated to empowering communities to have a say in development decisions within their County. Through KAKDET, we emphasize the significance of gender and inclusivity, effectively communicating and demonstrating these principles to project sponsors, as well as local and central government entities. I possess valuable skills in institutional strengthening and grants management, along with extensive experience in gender mainstreaming, land rights, food security, environmental integrity, and supporting communities in climate change adaptation.
